Koshy P.George; CPA


The firm Koshy P.George; CPA (a sole proprietorship) was established in 2009.
Prior to establishing his own firm, Koshy George worked with Two of the Big 4 Accounting Firms, with Regional Firms and in Industry: here in the United States and abroad, in the areas of Assurance, IT Audits and Business Advisory Services.  He brings over Eighteen years of rich Global Work Experience to his Practice: drawn from a plethora of Industries such as Technology, International Banking, Pharmaceuticals, Insurance and Hospitality.  He has worked in the areas of Accounting, Finance, Taxation, and Management & IT Consultancy Services.

Apart from being a Licensed CPA, Practicing Public Accounting here in the United States, he is also a Licensed CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) and a Licensed Chartered Accountant.  He is a Graduate of Delhi University, India and majored in the areas of Accounting, Finance, Economics & Mathematics. 

Ten Years of his Professional Work Life he has worked for Fortune 1000 Global Entities in the United Sates and abroad in different capacities helping Managements of these Entities develop Business IT Solutions and also in the traditional areas of Finance, Accounting & Internal Audit. 

He has also taught Accounting, Management Accounting, Financial Audit and Managerial Economics at Institutes of Higher Learning at the Graduate, Post Grad levels & conducted training courses at Professional levels.

Mr. Koshy now represents businesses, nonprofit entities, high and low income working and retired individuals & students, in California and many other states here in the US and across the Globe.

When he is not Practicing Accountancy he loves being with his family, cooking gourmet meals for friends and family, playing the Rhythm Guitar & Percussion Instruments, Singing & Blogging.  He is passionate about Reading & studying world religions and frequently blogs on various topics, among other pursuits.

He speaks over seven different languages fluently, conducts business in these languages and still enjoys learning new languages.  His goal for 2011 is to learn and speak Spanish.
